Till Lindemann

Till Lindemann's work includes three decades on the world rock scene, millions of fans and legendary concert shows. Frontman Rammstein, a solo artist and poet, has become one of the iconic figures of industrial music.Till Lindemann was born on January 4, 1963 in Leipzig. The family was far from show business in the usual sense, but close to creativity: Till's father was the poet Werner Lindemann. The future musician's youth was connected with sports: he was seriously involved in swimming and was a member of the GDR junior national team. Subsequently, Lindemann switched to music, and in 1994 became the vocalist of the band Rammstein.

In its history, Rammstein has released eight studio albums and has become one of the most successful German bands. The band's signature sound — heavy guitar riffs, electronic elements and Lindemann's distinctive vocals — has become one of the hallmarks of the Neue Deutsche Härte genre. The band's concerts are large — scale stadium productions with pyrotechnics and complex set design.

Lindemann debuted as a solo artist in 2015, creating the Lindemann project together with Peter Tagtgren. The result were the albums "Skills in Pills" and "F&M". In 2023, he released his solo album "Zunge", which entered the charts of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Meine Welt World tour (2025-2026) was a continuation of his solo career and covered dozens of cities, including Europe, Australia and Central Asia.

In addition to music, Lindemann realizes himself in literature: he wrote the poetry collections Messer and In stillen Nachten. He knows Russian. Lindemann's performances are vibrant stage shows with provocative aesthetics.
